A few months ago my grandfather showed me a photo of his own grandfather.  The man who practically raised my grandfather like he practically raised me.  In it, the old man sits on a wooden chair, in the middle of his corn field.  He’s wearing a pair of farm overalls and on his lap is his favorite past-time.  His banjo.  The photo was taken in the 1940s and I’ve been begging my grandfather to let me recreate it with him.  He promises that he will and I keep planning to get around to doing the mock-up.  In the meantime, this will have to do.
