It started out as a photo session for the baby. But dad worried he was too upset so he stepped in to give him a cuddle. Mom thought it was sweet and stepped in to give Dad a cuddle and there we are.

This little darling belongs to a dear friend of mine and she’s quickly becoming the best baby model ever. I have tons of images of the now Six Month Old, and if her mother gives me permission, will post more of them in the days ahead.

He’s not big into posing for photos, but he plays a mad game of tic tac toe.

In the first photo we couldn’t get either of the two little rodeo stars to keep their shoes on. The parents said ‘We’ll do without. It’s more like them anyway’ so that’s what we did and it ended up being one of their favorites. The second photo was just meant to be a quick portrait of the little one. But he got a bit upset and when big sis stepped in to comfort him, we snapped this one.

It’s 10:00pm and I’ve been following this gorgeous gal around all day. She’s a real sport and her smile (wait for it…) is just as incredible as her hair.

These were taken several years ago with a Canon A20. A little point and shoot that’s laugh-out-loud large by today’s standards. Still, some of my favorite spur of the moment photos were taken with that little thing.

Pre-concert jitters. On both our parts methinks (what with the wrong eye and all). She was all about posing after the performance, but beforehand…this particular ballerina didn’t like my paparazzi persona.
