This little guy knows his Manolos. He arranged the shoes in the hall into ‘Steal’ and ‘Splurge’ categories better than any aspiring fashionista. Then he hopped on the chair. Gave me a smile here and there. Did the masculine ‘hands in pocket while kicking at the air or staring contemplative at the sky’ look. Sweetest little thing. And the first time I’ve photographed him.

It just occurred to me that this lovely little lady’s father may not have appreciated my failure to assist his youngest daughter as she made her first attempt at mountain climbing. But the look on her face as she tried to make it up the two grown up size steps was priceless.

She only recently - as in days - started crawling. So the steps - which she managed on her own after 25 minutes of sheer determination - were monumental.

Baby K’s mother invited me for lunch. I took my camera. Above are a few of the photos from the day. Which, as of today, are still looking a little wonky on my monitor because the blog still needs a little upgrading. Come back tomorrow. It’ll look better. I promise. :)

We’ve got about six hundred of these. Will try to post more later. Area businesses form company football teams and duke it out in the Stadium. But first, you have to win on this field.

Four days. Four pounds. She was so tiny, I was almost afraid to touch her. If some of the images look a bit pixelated this week please bear with us. We’re updating the blog design. Jumping back and forth between column widths and header colors and every now and then the sizing gets caught in the cross fire. Will have it all sorted out directly.

So. I’ve decided. This little one ranks among my Top Three Posers. It’s probably just because she’s not walking yet so she can’t run away. But I like to think it’s because she has a flair for the dramatic. Below, with her older sister. Who can also strike a mad pose.

Both of these lovely ladies were remarkably calm, considering we were standing at the ‘Ten Second ’til Lift Off’ hour. Of course they both fell to pieces when the dress went on.

This wedding was held in an old Hunting Lodge (American translation: Medieval Castle) once used by Henry VIII. These two little ones may or may not have been after the hoard of chocolate covered strawberries that lay on the other side of the door.
